Deputies receive Vietnamese Delegation

group Mexico-Vietnam Friendship composed of deputies and Ruben Vazquez Pedro Moreira, among others, today received the Vietnamese delegation headed by Vice President Council of Peoples, Ma Dien Cu, the vice chairman of the Peoples Trieuh Nai and Thi Pham Van ambassador.
Vietnam has established trade relations with Mexico and in 2009 became the 34 trading partner of our country. Last year trade between both countries grew by 4.7 percent to stand at 715.6 million dollars.
According to Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Vietnam is ranked No. 5 in the index in emerging markets, among its main trading partners are the United States, China, Japan, India and the European Union.
In the meeting with Mexican legislators addressed the efforts made by the Government of Vietnam to improve the conditions of ethnic minorities and also recognized that according to data from the Organization of the United Nations this country decreased poverty from 50 to 14 percent in recent years, a situation that drew the attention of the deputies present, externship because unlike in Mexico, poverty has increased over the last decade.
Meanwhile the deputies Friendship Group, explained the functioning of the House of Representatives and made vows for greater economic and cultural cooperation.
By using a word the president of the Human Rights Commission, Rubén Moreira, spoke on the Bill on Human Rights and said that soon will have to realize this reform because it is a concern shared by legislators various political forces represented in the Chamber of Deputies.
At the working meeting was recalled to comply with established 35 years Mexico diplomatic relations-Vietnam, where our country sought to contribute to support operations and programs of cooperation in areas of nutrition, agriculture and energy development. Vietnam
